juvenis da seleção
espanhola, foi o único
'estrangeiro' incluído na
lista de convocados pelo
Brasil para o Sul-Americano
Sub-20, que será disputado
em janeiro na Argentina.
Rafael, irmão do também
barcelonista Thiago
Alcântara e filho do volante
Mazinho, campeão mundial
com o Brasil em 1994, se
destaca na lista de 22
convocados divulgada neste
domingo pelo técnico
Emerson Ávila.
A lista definitiva foi
publicada no site da CBF
após a exclusão de quatro
dos 26 jogadores que
durante as últimas três
semanas treinaram na
Granja Comary.
O técnico Emerson Ávila
cortou o goleiro Jordi
(Vasco), os meias Filipe (Rio
Ave-POR) e Gabriel (Vitória)
e o atacante Guilherme
Biteco (Grêmio).
Os jogadores que foram
mantidos na lista vão se
apresentar novamente na
Granja Comary no dia 2.
Eles ainda farão um jogo-
treino contra o Bangu antes
de embarcar para a disputa
na Argentina.
No Grupo A, a seleção
brasileira enfrentará
Equador, Uruguai, Peru e
Venezuela. Além de brigar
pelo tetra, a equipe precisa
ficar entre as quatro
primeiras colocadas para
disputar o Mundial, no meio
do ano.
